A DENTAL TECHNICIAN is a specialist who replaces dental – jaw system defects with a foreign body – dental prosthesis and who designs devices in orthodontics and complex prosthetics.

Profession contents
The dental technician makes:
- removable dentures,
- non-removable dentures,
- arch supported prostheses,
- metal ceramic and metal acrylate crowns and bridges,
- orthodontic devices.
The dental technician can work in:
- dental technical laboratories.
